Lil Wayne entered a not guilty plea to weapons charges during his arraignment in a New York court today (February 25) morning.

As reported earlier, a .40 caliber handgun was found by authorities in Wayne’s tour bus last July following a performance with Ja Rule at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre.

According to MTV, Wayne is facing two felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. 

If convicted, he may face up to three and a half years in prison due to New York’s strict gun laws.
