Cash Money founder Ron "Slim" Williams recently confirmed reports of Lil Wayne planning a collaborative album with T-Pain.
T-Pain collaborated with Lil Wayne on the song “Got Money” which is featured on Wayne’s latest album, The Carter III, which hit stores last week (June 10.
The song is the next single off The Carter III and the duo will be releasing a video for the track in the coming weeks
“They've been speaking on [it].” Williams told Billboard about the collabo album. “I wanted to get past Tha Carter III. Now we can sit down and get to the business of different collaborations. I just want to make sure that we have a good record.”
This marks the second time Lil Wayne has been linked to a collaborative album . Last year, Wayne was planning on a collabo album with Juelz Santana but it never materialized.
A title and release date for the Lil Wayne/T-Pain project was not given.
