Deathrow Records founder Suge Knight  has filed a lawsuit against Kanye West for his 2005 shooting and the loss of his  $135,000 diamond stud earring.

Knight was shot in the leg by an unknown person at a 2005 party hosted by Kanye West in Miami.

Knight, who claims he lost income and underwent mental and physical suffering due to the shooting, is blaming West for allowing a gun to get past security.

Knight also claims that a person he believed to be one of  West's employees, retrieved his diamond earring after the shooting and assured him it would be returned but never did.

Knight is seeking damages for his injuries and the loss of the earring.
