Outkast's Big Boi is currently working on his sophomore solo album titled Sir Luscious Left Foot.

The Atlanta bred rapper recently revealed to Vibe Magazine that he plans to drop the album next year and he will drop the first single off the album at midnight on December 31st.

“It's coming along great, man.  I'm going to put 12 songs on there, I'm finished with like nine right now,” Big Boi said about the album.  “ Production is by Organized Noize.  Speakerboxx was my first solo album, so just imagine what this is going to sound like.  I'm very excited about it, and we just putting it together right now.”

“It's going to be a lot of surprises,” he added.  “We just really trying to bring that [good] music back.”

Big Boi also revealed that his partner in rhyme, Andre 3000, will also be releasing a solo album after him and the duo will reunite for  a group project.

“We're going to give it to [fans] separate,” explained Big Boi.  “I'm going to do mine, Dre's going to do his, then we're going to put the Outkast record out after that.”
